About The Position

The Supplemental Instruction Graduate Assistant in Student Success and Engagement works with the Supplemental Instruction Program Manager in the planning and implementation of a variety of events, training, evaluation, and data collection relating to the operation of the Supplemental Instruction program.

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power Platforms (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze processes and ideate methods for more effective systems.
  • Strong desire to contribute to the successful operation of a peer learning program and an academic support center.
  • Ability to work with a large variety of undergraduate students. This position allows you to work with high achieving SI Leaders as a trainer and mentor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to create presentations and train others via presentations.
  • Self-Driven and comfortable working independently and/or managing their own schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct onsite observations and evaluations of SI Leaders. (some evenings required)
  • Maintaining SI Leader data each semester to track attendance.
  • Work in tandem with SI Undergraduate Admin to track SI worksheets and observation forms.
  • Assist the SI Program Manager on activities including presentations, scheduled events and ongoing programming.
  • Assist maintaining the SI schedule and communicating with SI Leaders.
  • Other duties relating to the operation of Student Success and Engagement
