About The Position

This position involves providing tutoring and support in one of the service areas, assisting learners in developing effective study skills and test-taking strategies, learning and continually applying TLC and tutoring program procedures, regularly checking staff email and communicating with other staff members, and attending required orientations, meetings, and training sessions.

Requirements

• Completed at least one semester at UWSP with at least two semesters remaining
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of course material and/or written skills as evidenced by a 3.0 GPA or above and/or a faculty recommendation letter.
• Available to tutor for at least two semesters
• Willing to work with peers in a collaborative, inclusive learning environment
• Enjoy helping others learn
