Requirements

• Current state RN license or PA Temporary Practice Permit.
• Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Must obtain PA RN License within 3 months of hire
• BLS
• ACLS, within 6-months of hire

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates and determines work assignments and evaluates job performance, recognizes performances.
• Covers call-offs, adjusts schedule as needed.
• Meets with employees to listen to and resolve employee issues and grievance.
• Implements performance improvements including verbal counseling.
• Develops and implements department and/or hospital policy; insures all employees are trained in policy; exercises discretion, independent of policy to insure proper function of department or subdepartment.
• Supervise staff delivering patient care within Emergency Services.
