About The Position

MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by a talented team of leading professionals, MidState Medical Center provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life. MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Telemetry/Stroke Unit. We offer a strong focus on Employee Assistance and Wellness programs, have no mandating or off-shift rotations, provide onsite free parking and uniform stipends, and maintain healthy staff ratios. Our Telemetry/Stroke Unit Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices. We offer clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Telemetry/Stroke Unit Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
