This role involves providing support within the Disability Services office, focusing on student interaction, administrative tasks, and assisting with accommodation processes. The ideal candidate will be professional, compassionate, and committed to ensuring equal access for students with disabilities.

  • Must understand the importance of confidentiality and ensure that confidentiality is maintained

Responsibilities

  • Reception and check-in of all walk-in students
  • Managing phone calls
  • Responding to general student questions
  • Reviewing and assigning statuses to student applications
  • Assisting the accommodations coordinators with larger tasks (i.e. obtaining and providing accessible course materials and books, securing and providing the notes from peer notetakers, etc).
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Disability Services office
