About The Position
Kapunahala Elementary is hiring a general education kindergarten teacher. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree. A person hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program has up to three years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license and must enroll in an aligned program to continue employment. During each year of employment, the teacher must satisfactorily demonstrate active progress toward Hawaii licensing requirements. Upon hire, the teacher must hold a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit. A Hawaii teaching license is required to receive salary differentials.
