About The Position

This is an extra duty position for a Grade 4/5 Girls Basketball Coach at Vogel K6. The role involves developing and implementing an exemplary athletic program that provides the highest quality education and growth opportunities for every student athlete. The position is part of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC), which aims to educate, inspire, and empower students. Requirements

Prior coaching experience preferred.

Develop and implement an exemplary athletic program.

Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the sport, ensuring effective instruction and guidance for student athletes.
Effectively adapt instruction of strategy and fundamentals to align with the individual needs, abilities, and interests of student-athletes.
Develop and sustain an organized athletic program guided by well-structured, long-term planning.
Demonstrate effective planning and organization while employing a diverse range of appropriate strategies and resources to enhance student athlete development.
Clearly convey fundamental coaching expectations to student athletes and explain their significance for personal, athletic, and academic growth.
Utilize appropriate and varied coaching techniques and learning activities.
Maintain an effective system of monitoring student progress and inform appropriate persons.
