About The Position

As a GPU Software Development Engineer, you will design and develop software solutions for Intel GPUs, from firmware and device drivers to APIs and application layers. The role focuses on kernel-level features that support functionality, power management, and performance optimization for integrated and discrete graphics products. You will join Intel’s Windows Kernel Mode Driver Team within the Client Graphics IP group. The team develops and deploys robust, performant Windows kernel GPU drivers that connect user-space clients, games, and applications with GPU and system-on-chip hardware. Its work includes device activation, reset and power-state transitions, workload submission, power conservation, scheduling, and collaboration with SoC intellectual properties. The role involves system-level software and collaboration across graphics rendering, firmware, SoC, and power-management domains.
