About The Position

This is a highly responsible professional position located within the Bureau of Preparedness and Response, Administrative Preparedness Section. The incumbent serves as an Administrative Preparedness Specialist assisting with the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) and Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Cooperative Agreements. This position is responsible for providing all expenditure justifications to the Office of Budget and Revenue Management (OBRM) for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) and the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Cooperative Agreements in accordance with federal guidelines. This includes Schedule C reimbursement and headquarters expenditures. Incumbent will monitor grant expenditures daily to identify corrections needed prior to providing justification to OBRM. Incumbent will assist with grant application, reporting and auditing as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Providing all expenditure justifications to the Office of Budget and Revenue Management (OBRM) for the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) and the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Cooperative Agreements in accordance with federal guidelines, including Schedule C reimbursement and headquarters expenditures.
  • Monitoring grant expenditures daily to identify corrections needed prior to providing justification to OBRM.
  • Assisting with grant application, reporting and auditing as requested.
  • Working with the Administrative Preparedness Section Administrator to enter quarterly spend plan and reporting data into the federal system Ready Camp for the PHEP Cooperative Agreement.
  • Assisting with entering all required data into Ready Camp for the PHEP Cooperative Agreement application.
  • Collecting the Single Federal Award Certifications for BPR's cooperative agreements on a semi-annual basis.
  • Responding to department audit requests as needed.
  • Being listed on the ESF8 3-deep roster in a designated role during exercises and/or responses.
  • Performing other duties as required.
  • Performing emergency duty before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days.
