About The Position

This is a Government Operations Consultant I position in the General Tax Administration Program's, Taxpayer Services Process (TSP), Resource Support Group. The incumbent is responsible for providing support to process objectives and initiatives within TPS including designing and conducting training, creating and maintaining training materials, evaluating contact center phone and correspondence interactions, and supporting quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality customer service, agent performance, and compliance with established policies and procedures. The Florida Department of Revenue’s General Tax Administration program collects the revenue that maintains the state’s infrastructure, funds schools, protects the environment, and much more. Requirements

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • One year of experience in training, quality assurance, process improvement, reviewing operational issues, procedure development, or similar work.
  • Experience participating in or leading special projects or workgroups.
  • Experience developing or updating reports, procedures, guides, training materials, or similar documents.
  • Experience working in the System for Unified Taxation (SUNTAX).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience completing, verifying, auditing, or processing business tax reports/returns.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
