About The Position
As a Gourmet Food Runner for Catch at Aria, you will deliver seafood-focused, globally inspired dishes with seamless, high-energy service that exceeds guests’ expectations. You will work closely with the front-of-house team, maintain clean tables, perform side duties, and help create memorable experiences in a busy, high-end dining room. The role requires knowledge of menu items, prices, preparation methods, ingredients, quality and presentation standards, hotel services, and local attractions. You will welcome and assist guests, anticipate their needs, maintain table cleanliness, process bills and payments, and complete the Restaurant Training Program and required testing.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Successful completion of the Restaurant Training Program and testing is required.
Nice To Haves
- Four or more years of relevant experience as a food runner or food server in a similar upscale, high-end, or gourmet restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and use menu, service, selling, and guest-preference knowledge to guide their selections.
- Know menu items, prices, preparation methods and times, ingredients, quality standards, and presentation details.
- Become familiar with hotel services and features, as well as local attractions and activities, to answer guest inquiries accurately.
- Maintain table cleanliness using a silent service approach.
- Itemize bills correctly and secure payment efficiently.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond with a sense of urgency.
- Work as a team and assist with guest and employee needs and inquiries.
- Successfully complete the Restaurant Training Program and required testing.
