About The Position

Yorktown Golf Course, owned by the Village of Shiloh and managed by Walters Golf Management, is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Golf Shop Attendant to help lead daily golf operations and oversee the outside services team. This is a key leadership position responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining efficient operations, and supporting all golf-related programming. The ideal candidate is service-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing both people and processes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team—particularly outside services staff
• Strong commitment to hospitality and exceptional customer service
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and daily financial reporting
• Working knowledge of golf operations and a passion for the game
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Golf Shop activities, including tee sheet management, check-in, and pace-of-play support
• Deliver a high level of hospitality and effectively resolve guest concerns
• Supervise, train, and support the outside services team
• Set daily expectations and ensure consistent service standards are met
• Manage and reconcile daily POS transactions, cash deposits, and sales reporting
• Support budget awareness and cost-control initiatives
• Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and scoring of tournaments and leagues
• Ensure a professional, organized experience for all participants
• Maintain a clean, organized Golf Shop and staging areas
• Oversee golf cart fleet readiness and practice facility presentation in partnership with outside services
