About The Position

The Golf Course Cart Barn/Bag Room Supervisor manages the daily outside operations of the golf course to ensure members and guests receive attentive customer service, clean equipment, and smooth staging before and after their rounds. The role oversees the golf cart fleet, including cleanliness, fuel or charge readiness, and stocking of supplies. It also supervises the daily work of the team, coordinating coverage, assigning tasks, training employees, and ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. The position is based at Hollybrook Golf and Tennis Club Condominium in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and pays $16.50 per hour. It is full time, with day, weekday, and weekend availability needed.

Requirements

High school diploma.

Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, noise, and outdoor settings.
Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome players.
Stage carts in the proper area, ready to serve players as they arrive.
Detail staged carts in the morning as needed.
Remain attentive and ready to assist members and guests at the bag drop.
Remove golf bags from vehicles or the storage room and load them onto carts.
Wash range balls and towels daily.
Remove bags from carts and return them to the member’s or guest’s vehicle or to storage.
Return carts to storage, removing towels, pencils, scorecards, tees, and trash, and reusing appropriate items.
Wash and detail carts before parking them for overnight charging.
Plug carts in properly for overnight charging.
Supervise daily team activities to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Assign tasks and coordinate schedules to maintain appropriate staffing and coverage.
Train, coach, and support employees on job responsibilities, procedures, and service expectations.
Ensure team members follow company policies, safety procedures, and workplace expectations.
Respond to issues and escalated concerns, referring matters to management as needed.
