About The Position

As a GSOC Specialist at Wolfspeed, you will help protect people, property, and information by providing customer service and supporting essential security functions. You will assess, coordinate, and oversee emergency response efforts during on-site security or emergency incidents. The role involves monitoring security and facility systems, handling communications and records, responding to life-safety incidents, and prioritizing service requests for local and global operations. Additional duties or assignments may be designated by management.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time and task management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Aptitude for learning and applying new skills.
Strong decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of CAD, life-safety, alarm, and access control systems.
Strong customer service skills.
Experience working with badging and access control software.

Responsibilities

Maintain visibility of emergency conditions and use established procedures and critical thinking to provide solutions.
Monitor cameras, access control, and facility alarms; conduct internal CCTV investigations as needed.
Maintain records of communications and events.
Respond to and dispatch for life-safety incidents.
Process and prioritize service requests to support local and global operational requirements.
