This role is the operational heartbeat of a high-profile Financial Services account at BCD Meetings & Events. It focuses on keeping global teams aligned, processes sharp, and delivery running smoothly in a highly regulated, detail-focused environment. The position partners closely with leadership to drive governance, reporting, quality, and continuous improvement across event management, attendee data, web, and finance functions. The ideal candidate loves building structure, solving complex challenges, and making great work happen behind the scenes within the world of strategic meetings management.

Requirements

7+ years of progressive experience in leading event planning teams, event management, or a related field.
Experience supporting Financial Services, enterprise, or other regulated industries where precision and professionalism matter.
A background in event planning, meeting management, or event operations.
People management is a must have for this role.
Experience leading client-facing teams and building high-performing, accountable cultures.

Responsibilities

Leading cross-functional teams and keeping complex workstreams moving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven Financial Services events environment.
Building SOPs, governance frameworks, and operational controls that support quality, compliance, and consistency across event planning services.
Turning data into action through KPI tracking, executive dashboards, and clear operational reporting.
Managing budgets, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives with strong financial accuracy and business judgment.
Using Cvent and event technology tools to improve attendee experiences, reporting, and overall program delivery.
