About The Position

Global Executive Development (GED) is seeking a strategic Sr. Communications Specialist to shape and execute communications that support the development of Amazon's most senior leaders across all business units. From crafting compelling program narratives and executive-facing content to building scalable communications strategies for flagship development programs, you will be a critical partner in bringing GED's mission to life. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a bias for action, has strong writing instincts, and demonstrates the ability to translate complex leadership development concepts into clear, engaging messages for senior audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Program Management, Human Resources, Employment Law, Computer Science, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that support GED's flagship offerings ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints and audiences
  • Create compelling, executive-ready content including program narratives, leadership communications, talking points, and speeches for senior stakeholders
  • Build and manage editorial calendars and multi-channel content plans that align with program milestones, registration cycles, and organizational priorities
  • Partner closely with program managers, HRBPs, and business unit stakeholders to translate complex leadership development concepts into clear, engaging communications for senior leader audiences
  • Own communications for new program launches and strategic initiatives, including developing positioning, stakeholder messaging, and change communications as GED evolves its portfolio
  • Establish scalable communications frameworks, templates, and standards that enable consistent quality across GED's growing suite of programs and career-stage pathways
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of communications efforts, using feedback and engagement data to continuously improve content strategy and delivery
  • Support the development of thought leadership content that reinforces Amazon's Leadership Principles and Day 1 culture, contributing to GED's role as a center of excellence for executive development
