About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Global Command Center Operator to monitor security operations and identify threats before they escalate. The role involves observing security systems, documenting events, responding to incidents, controlling access to secure areas, and helping ensure the safety of people and property. Operators interact with sites in multiple countries and states and may collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies. The position is based in Manhattan, New York, and requires morning, evening, and weekend availability.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience working in a command center, SOC, and/or GSOC environment.
At least 4 years of experience working with Genetec Video Software and CCURE 9000 Access Control.
A New York Security License.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Strong report-writing skills.
Strong proficiency with technology.
High-level computer skills.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Monitor security systems using Genetec to detect suspicious activity.
Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities using CCURE 9000.
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
Interact with sites in multiple countries and states.
