About The Position

Zoom is hiring a business development professional to lead its entry into the global Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) market. The role focuses on pursuing and onboarding major BPO partners, positioning Zoom as a leading CX platform partner in the outsourcing industry, and owning the partnership pursuit from initial engagement through signing. After onboarding, partners are handed off to the field organization for ongoing account management. This is a hunter role focused on opening doors, navigating complex organizations, and closing strategic partnerships. The role sits within the Channel GTM team, which works across CX Product, Sales, Partner Programs, and Operations to build and scale routes to market. Zoom has established a BPO Partner Program with tailored commercial models, certifications, volume licensing agreements, and partner/customer hybrid go-to-market motions. The person in this role will secure partnerships and work cross-functionally to develop and refine BPO-specific offerings and onboarding.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or channel sales within CCaaS, UCaaS, or contact center technology, with direct exposure to BPOs.
  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships with large outsourcers, managed service providers, or similar partner ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of the BPO operating model, including how outsourcers evaluate, procure, and deploy contact center platforms at scale across geographies and clients.
  • Experience with commercial negotiations involving volume licensing, outcome-based pricing, multi-tenant requirements, and partner/customer hybrid go-to-market structures.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to build C-level relationships at global BPO organizations and articulate Zoom's CX value proposition.
  • Self-starter comfortable operating in a net-new market without an existing quota baseline and initially measured on MBO-driven milestones rather than traditional quota attainment.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, including working with Product, Engineering, Partner Programs, and Field Sales to translate BPO requirements into partner solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Zoom's CX portfolio—Contact Center, Virtual Agent, Workforce Engagement Management, and Quality Management—or equivalent competitive platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close BPO partnerships globally, including partnerships with large outsourcers serving contact center agents across voice, chat, email, messaging, and social channels.
  • Own the full business development lifecycle, including prospecting, discovery, relationship building, negotiation, and partnership execution; hand off onboarded partners to the field organization.
  • Position Zoom's CX portfolio—including Contact Center, Virtual Agent, and Workforce Engagement Management—as a platform for BPO operations, highlighting differentiated models, scalability, and AI-powered capabilities.
  • Address BPO partner needs such as flexible scaling, reporting, partner/customer hybrid go-to-market motions, outcome-based pricing, and certification requirements.
  • Partner with CX Product, Partner Programs, and Operations to shape BPO-specific offerings, ensure technical readiness, and support seamless partner onboarding.
  • Build and present business cases to BPO executive leadership demonstrating the ROI of adopting or migrating to Zoom's CX platform.
  • Track pipeline, forecast deal progression, and report partnership development milestones to Channel and CX leadership.
  • Collaborate with Partner Programs to refine BPO program elements, including pricing, certifications, volume licensing agreements, and enablement content, using field feedback from active pursuits.

Benefits

  • Benefits program offering perks, benefits, and options to support physical, mental, emotional, and financial health, work-life balance, and community involvement.
  • Total Direct Compensation may include base salary, bonus, and equity value.
