About The Position

Propio Language Services is seeking a motivated, ambitious Global Accounts Payable Intern for its Summer Internship Program, a nine-plus-week experience offering real-world client work and mentorship from experienced professionals. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to accounts payable functions, including bill coding, vendor management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow planning and analysis, while contributing to projects in a fast-paced environment. The role is onsite and provides opportunities to learn about corporate finance and work with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Interest in learning about and contributing to a variety of department functions.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Minimum 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred.
Active involvement in campus, community, or other volunteer activities and/or organizations is preferred.
Prior internship or office experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Support the finance team with day-to-day accounts payable operations.
Help input invoices and bills using AI-powered workflows.
Assist with vendor payments, payment inquiries, and expense tracking.
Review and organize financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.
Assist with contractor pay questions and route them to the appropriate operations group when necessary.
Update or enhance standard operating procedure documentation for recurring accounts payable tasks.
Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations and special projects.
