About The Position

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Glaze Line Operator to operate glaze-line equipment and inspect tile during ceramic tile manufacturing. The role monitors equipment and processes, identifies and reports problems, completes hourly quality checks, and transports glaze using powered industrial trucks. The operator follows established procedures and helps maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to perform the physical duties described, including lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor glaze-line equipment and processes and report problems to the supervisor.
• Inspect tile for quality defects during manufacturing.
• Perform hourly quality-control checks to ensure tile meets specifications.
• Operate powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from glaze lines.
• Follow operating procedures.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
