About The Position

The Main Plant Forklift Operator unloads and loads trucks safely and efficiently, consolidates and stores products according to FIFO methods, documents and verifies lot codes during processes, and reworks damaged products. The position is full-time on a night shift, working 12-hour shifts from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, for 15 workdays per month. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Pay attention to lot codes, item numbers, and product descriptions.
• Rotate stock accurately.
• Document damage and discrepancies on bills of lading and transfer sheets.
• Count products.
• Rework damaged products and maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the warehouse floor.
• Perform quality assurance checks on products.
• Unload and load trucks safely and promptly.
• Consolidate and store products according to FIFO methods.
• Document and verify lot codes during processes.
