About The Position

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Glaze Line Operator to join its manufacturing team. The role operates glaze-line equipment and inspects tile as part of the ceramic tile manufacturing process. The operator monitors equipment and processes, performs hourly quality checks, transports glaze using powered industrial trucks, follows operating procedures, and maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor glaze-line equipment and processes and report problems to a supervisor.
• Inspect tile for quality defects during manufacturing.
• Perform hourly quality-control checks to ensure tile meets specifications.
• Operate powered industrial trucks to transport glaze to and from glaze lines.
• Follow operating procedures.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
