About The Position

Alexandria Industries is hiring a Production Operator to support its Fabrication team by operating equipment that modifies aluminum parts to customer specifications. The operator sets up and runs manufacturing equipment, inspects parts for quality, and packages finished products for shipment. This work helps ensure customers receive accurate, high-quality products on time. The role is performed in a manufacturing environment where safety and quality are priorities.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect parts to customer specifications.
• Ability to use inspection equipment and identify product defects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, loud noise, dust, fumes, and moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds; items over 40 pounds require a team lift or crane.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, and repetitive motions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Experience using measurement or inspection tools.
• Experience reading manufacturing documents or work orders.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment to safely produce aluminum parts that meet customer specifications.
• Review work orders, inspect parts, and verify quality requirements using inspection tools.
• Package finished products according to customer requirements and production schedules.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and production processes.
