About The Position

The Production Associate fabricates and produces component parts for final window assembly. The role involves repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Work may include heavy lifting and hands-on tasks, and duties may vary across departments. The position is based at 2549 Innovation Drive, Marion, Ohio, and is scheduled for third shift, Sunday through Wednesday, from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The base pay rate is $17.00 per hour, plus a $1 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
Support window operations by delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
Perform workstation functions using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
Understand and carry out verbal instructions and read and carry out simple written instructions.
Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
Use a tape measure; inspect, examine, and observe products for defects.
Make fraction and decimal conversions.
Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
