About The Position

cFocus Software seeks a Systems Engineer to support its Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) program. This position is on-site in Huntsville, Alabama, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph. The role supervises and manages the design, development, maintenance, and daily operations of the Enterprise GIS program, including its network components, server environments, operating systems, software, services, and data. It also leads the technical planning and implementation of new geospatial capabilities, supports integration with external systems, and ensures systems follow FBI security and change-management policies.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of GIS Systems Engineering experience.
• At least 8 years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise GIS and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the design, development, and maintenance of all aspects of the Enterprise GIS program, including network components, server environments, operating systems, software, services, and data.
• Manage day-to-day Enterprise GIS operations, including evaluating system utilization, monitoring performance, and detecting and correcting operational problems.
• Lead technical planning, design, and implementation of new geospatial capabilities.
• Perform systems management and integration functions and address interoperability issues between Enterprise GIS and external systems.
• Ensure Enterprise GIS systems are current with approved patches and operate within IT security parameters.
• Ensure updates to Enterprise GIS components follow FBI change-management policies and procedures.
• Manage and control geospatial system maintenance and enhancement activities.
