About The Position

cFocus Software seeks a Developer to support a program for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The position is on-site in Huntsville, Alabama, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph. The Developer enhances Enterprise GIS tools by automating geospatial tasks, designing and maintaining mapping applications, and managing geoprocessing workflows and spatial data. The role also involves ETL data transformation and management, as well as testing, tuning, and maintaining scripts and processes.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of geospatial development experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Python, spatial data, and spatial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Enterprise GIS tools by writing scripts that automate geospatial tasks, including data conversion, geocoding, and map production.
• Design and maintain mapping applications within the Enterprise GIS platform.
• Use scripting languages such as Python to automate geoprocessing workflows, manage spatial data, and perform spatial analysis.
• Use Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for data transformation and data management.
• Test, tune performance, and maintain scripts and processes implemented in Enterprise GIS tools.
