About The Position

cFocus Software seeks a Data Engineer to support a program for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This position is onsite in Huntsville, Alabama and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. The role focuses on engineering and managing geospatial data within an Enterprise GIS ecosystem, including preparing spatial data for analysis and visualization, delivering vector and raster datasets, maintaining geospatial reference data, optimizing enterprise geodatabases, and developing near-real-time data ingestion from external systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of geospatial data engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Extracting, Transferring, and Loading (ETL) processes or integration with external system service endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, clean, prepare, and manage spatial data within the Enterprise GIS ecosystem so it is ready for analysis and visualization.
• Carry out engineering tasks to deliver vector and raster geospatial datasets to users.
• Ensure geospatial reference data, including geocoding and map or imagery data, is updated and available to users.
• Build, maintain, and optimize enterprise geodatabases and spatial data models.
• Develop and manage near-real-time geospatial data ingests from external systems.
• Monitor data availability, currency, and accuracy to maintain data integrity.
