About The Position

The Syracuse City School District is seeking a dedicated and diverse team of educators to partner with its goals of innovation and transformation. The district serves approximately 19,000 students Pre-K–12 across 35 schools and programs. The district offers 120 different athletic teams for students in grades 7-12, with a coaching staff of certified, dedicated individuals who enjoy working with student athletes. The modified program (grades 7-8) emphasizes skill development, participation, discipline, enjoyment, competition, and hard work, rather than winning. The high school level (freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams) stresses the development of academics, goal setting, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship, with a focus on refining skills and achieving success.

Responsibilities

Coach student athletes in grades 7-12.
