Gift Shop Attendant (Part-Time) - Philadelphia
About The Position
The Gift Shop Attendant completes customer sales transactions, maintains stock levels, and helps ensure guests have an enjoyable customer service experience. The role includes maintaining a friendly and courteous atmosphere, assisting guests, keeping the shop clean and orderly, and supporting month-end inventory. The attendant also helps ensure the safety and security of guests and others visiting the gift shop and performs other duties as assigned. This position is part-time and is based in Philadelphia. The work environment is a 24/7 high-energy casino committed to fairness, teamwork, and fun. Team members are exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises, and work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
Requirements
- Ability to read, speak clearly, and listen.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Ability to complete reports.
- Ability to accept constructive criticism and correct faults and issues as directed or warranted.
- Knowledge of company policy procedures.
- Ability to read basic instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.
- Knowledge of good customer service techniques.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one to two years of experience in a high-volume retail store, using an electronic cash register and handling a variety of inventory, including soft goods, soft drinks, and snacks.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a friendly, courteous atmosphere in the Gift Shop and assist guests whenever necessary.
- Ring up sales and give correct change.
- Keep the Gift Shop clean and orderly.
- Assist with month-end inventory.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and others visiting the gift shop.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
