About The Position

The Gift Shop Attendant completes sales transactions with customers, maintains stock levels, and helps ensure guests have an enjoyable customer service experience. The role works in a high-energy casino environment where smoking is allowed, with exposure to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one to two years of experience in a high-volume retail store, using an electronic cash register and handling a varied inventory that includes soft goods, soft drinks, and snacks.
Ability to read, speak clearly, and listen.
Exceptional communication skills.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
Ability to complete reports.
Ability to accept constructive criticism and correct faults and issues as directed or warranted.
Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Ability to read basic instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.
Knowledge of good customer service techniques.

Maintain a friendly, courteous atmosphere in the Gift Shop and assist guests as needed.
Ring up sales and provide correct change.
Keep the Gift Shop clean and orderly.
Assist with month-end inventory.
Help ensure the safety and security of guests and others visiting the Gift Shop.
Perform other duties as assigned.
