About The Position
The GI Technician/Surgical Technician assists with delegated patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role also processes endoscopes according to recommended AORN and AAMI standards and assists physicians with procedures.
Requirements
- BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from a Nursing Assistant Program is preferred.
- Six months of experience in a health care setting is preferred.
