About The Position
The Surgical Scheduler II helps ensure surgical procedures are scheduled smoothly and efficiently. The role works closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate surgical cases, obtain necessary authorizations, and support patients and their families throughout the scheduling process. This is a full-time position in Arlington Heights, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Experience as a Surgical Scheduler or in a related healthcare administrative role is required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Health Administration preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate surgical cases with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Obtain necessary authorizations for surgical procedures.
