About The Position

JLL is seeking a Property Manager to join our team in Montréal. Reporting to the Senior Director, Property Management, you will oversee all day-to-day operations of premium properties located at 420 Notre-Dame, 465 and 485 McGill. In this role, you will act as the owner's representative, managing tenant relationships, coordinating building operations, and ensuring optimal performance across all aspects of property management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service while maximizing revenue and maintaining operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to JLL's leadership in commercial real estate while managing high-profile assets in a dynamic urban market.

Requirements

  • University degree preferably in administration or property management (RPA, FMA, or CPM designation with equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered)
  • Minimum five to seven years of experience in a similar property management role
  • Fluency in French and English (both oral and written) for interactions with partners and tenants based outside Quebec
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, construction processes (including reading sketches, plans, and schematics), and building HVAC systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, multitask effectively, and balance competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Represent the building owner in daily management activities and establish professional relationships with tenant representatives and external partners
  • Conduct regular inspections of all building areas and coordinate tenant engagement, building improvements, and tenant modifications with various stakeholders
  • Monitor and enforce lease terms tactfully, while working with the Operations Manager to ensure technical installations remain clean, safe, energy-efficient, and code-compliant
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for income, expenses, and capital expenditures; oversee monthly operating expenses and prepare quarterly financial reports explaining significant variances
  • Coordinate and monitor all service contracts, ensuring contractors comply with agreement terms; renew contracts or restart bidding processes as needed
  • Supervise building staff including the Property Coordinator and all contract employees (security, cleaning, maintenance, day porter, contractors)
  • Issue and approve purchase orders, collect rent and accounts receivable, prepare tenant letters and notices, and maintain emergency response guidelines and parking operational procedures
