About The Position

Vetio Animal Health is a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) dedicated to animal health; we integrate product development with full-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing through a Quality-by-Design process. Our mission is to develop and manufacture products that improve the lives of animals, while ensuring the safety, quality and compliance of all our products to the highest of industry standards. The Project Manager plays a key role in the successful execution of CDMO initiatives, overseeing activities from product development through to commercialization. In this role, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects that contribute directly to our mission of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products on time, on budget, and in full compliance with GMP standards. This position is ideal for a forward-thinking professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and takes pride in turning ideas into measurable results. You will bring structure, clarity, and coordination to dynamic projects, combining operational excellence with strategic insight to ensure that each initiative supports business objectives and delivers tangible results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BSc considered an asset).
  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and/or R&D processes.
  • Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficient with project management tools and reporting systems (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
  • Professional maturity and strong client-facing skills, with the ability to represent the organization effectively and adapt communication to diverse audiences.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and track detailed project plans while managing timelines, budgets, and milestones with clarity and precision.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Anticipate risks, propose solutions, and keep leadership informed with concise progress updates.
  • Oversee technical deliverables, ensuring equipment, documentation, and validation activities comply with GMP standards.
  • Simplify and improve processes by standardizing tools, sharing best practices, and driving efficiency.
  • Prepare clear reports and executive summaries that support transparent, data-driven decisions.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment focused on results and continuous learning.
  • Ensure smooth project closure through documentation, lessons learned, and knowledge transfer.
