About The Position

Omnicom Media Montréal is looking for a Programmatic Performance Manager to join their team. This role is for someone who has proven activation skills and wants to deepen their expertise, manage more complex and strategic files with greater autonomy, and become a senior reference influencing performance strategies. Omnicom Media is a media agency with over 200 colleagues specializing in media planning, business strategy, project management, and digital, audio & video performance. They build unique media strategies using data and insights to reach target audiences across various channels like digital, TV, radio, and OOH. They leverage technological tools and databases to help clients stand out in their media strategies, emphasizing media creativity and shared success.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • A relevant post-secondary degree (digital media, marketing, administration, etc.)
  • An interest in new technologies
  • A high level of attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
  • Comfort working with numbers and technological tools
  • Experience with digital activation platforms (DSP, Business Managers, Campaign Managers, Google Ads, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Fluency in both spoken and written French and English (English is a basic requirement because our global network interacts daily with clients on a national and international scale.)

  • Experience with databases (Radius, Lens, etc.) and administrative software (MediaOcean, DDS)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior activation expert in Programmatic.
  • Ensure the highest quality of work.
  • Contribute to best-practice initiatives and deepen the team’s collective expertise.
  • Act as the guardian of operational excellence and a catalyst for team members’ growth.
  • Serve as a resource person within the team and mentor junior members.
  • Collaborate with digital growth experts to develop media recommendations specific to the activation channel.
  • Launch and market campaigns on platforms and with partners related to the discipline.
  • Identify and propose optimization opportunities based on predetermined platform performance metrics.
  • Contribute to campaign reports by providing a list of optimizations performed and any context relevant to interpreting the results.
  • Help adjust audiences at the time of launch.
  • Master data sources from various partners and platforms for creating targeting.
  • Prepare routing sheets and submit materials for tag creation on the ad server.
  • Manage campaign closing: update digital calendars, update financial platforms, and follow up with dedicated teams.
  • Stay up to date on all new features, betas, or changes related to buying platforms, optimization options, buying methods, and targeting data points.
  • Collaborate on various projects related to the discipline to enhance the quality and depth of expertise.
  • Share innovations and best practices with the team.
