About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Bilingual Brand Manager for BonLook! In this role, you’ll lead, execute and oversee our strategic go-to-market plan driving BonLook’s visibility and reputation as a fashion-forward, bold eyewear brand. You’ll collaborate with digital, advertising, communications, creative and operations teams to ensure consistent brand messaging for BonLook across all channels. This is a maternity leave contract position from August 2026 until September 2027. This role is based at our Home Office in Montreal, Quebec.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required to communicate on a daily basis with team members across Canada. Strong English proficiency is required
  • University Degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Communications, or a related discipline is required
  • 5+ years of leading marketing communications / campaign experience within a fast-paced corporate setting or experience in a retail channel marketing management capacity with a successful track record of direct program implementation
  • Proven ability to step into a fast-moving, fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact is essential, retail experience is considered an asset
  • Adaptable, decisive, reliable and accountable leader who can hit the ground running, with a self-motivated approach and the ability to guide and support the team
  • Knowledge of traditional, digital and social marketing techniques
  • Proficient in data analysis with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights
  • Understanding of the retail environment, including an awareness of store traffic patterns, seasonal peaks, and the nuances of the "one-on-one" sales process.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and align BonLook’s fashion-forward brand positioning with broader business objectives
  • Strong ability to manage cross-functional projects, and collaborate with designers, marketers, and executives
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge to manage various projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication in both French and English
  • Excellent time management skills with a strong deadline-oriented approach
  • Attention to detail and maintaining consistency across all brand touchpoints, ensuring messaging, design, and tone align with brand standards
  • Proven ability to inspire, coach, and mentor a team while driving organizational goals
  • A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive leader with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively

Responsibilities

  • Lead the seamless continuation and implementation of integrated marketing plans and campaigns driving key business objectives
  • Increase BonLook’s visibility as an on-trend eyewear brand, reaching new audiences and expanding the customer base
  • Partner with operations, strategy, merchandising and digital teams to deliver objectives and tactics
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce fashion-forward marketing materials with cohesive BonLook brand messaging across all platforms
  • Support recognizable and consistent BonLook identity rooted in bold, on-trend eyewear that resonates with customers
  • Oversee and maintain brand presentation expectations, ensuring that the visual and verbal brand identity is maintained across all physical touchpoints
  • Oversee advertising and promotional activities to increase BonLook brand awareness and sales
  • Develop content strategies that reflect BonLook’s fashion-forward aesthetic to engage customers and drive interest and appointments
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Analyze consumer insights and feedback to improve BonLook’s brand positioning and messaging as a bold, on-trend eyewear brand
  • Responsible for overall budget management and ROI of all marketing investments
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing and Retail Ops to ensure brand campaigns are operationally feasible and effectively executed at the store level
  • Actively solicit and analyze feedback from the field to refine future campaign strategies
  • Support internal programs as required
  • Quickly integrate into and foster a collaborative environment on the brand management team
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the marketing coordinator
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals
