Reporting to the Senior Geologist Supervisor, the Geologist or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) is responsible for collaborating with a group of professionals to support mining operations at Fording River. The successful candidate will learn geology practices under the guidance and mentorship of a team committed to achieving safe production and sustainability. At EVR, a GIT will develop over a 4-year program with rotations approximately every 18 to 24 months, giving you the experience and exposure to build well-rounded skills to become a highly successful professional geologist. To be successful, we are looking for an analytical and detail-orientated person with strong interpersonal skills, who can build and maintain positive relationships in a team setting. This individual is able to collaborate with various personnel within all aspects of the operation, and ensure accurate information is available to alldepartments and stakeholders.
