Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, with an HR specialization
  • Completion of, or actively working towards, a CPHR/CHRP designation
  • 3–4 years of experience in an HR role, with exposure to generalist responsibilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, business leaders, and HR colleagues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience navigating and administering HRIS systems

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the professional services industry is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Conduct exit and stay interviews, managing terminations as appropriate
  • Maintain and update employee records, including manual files, payroll, and HRIS systems
  • Administer promotions, transfers, job classifications, compensation, and annual performance evaluations
  • Conduct compensation analysis to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity, providing recommendations for offers
  • Facilitate talent roundtables to support succession planning, career development, and workforce planning, playing a key role in the talent management process
  • Provide guidance and support to team members and business leaders on various HR matters, including policies, compliance, employee relations, problem resolution, total rewards, and performance management
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for internal business purposes, facilitating workgroups, training sessions, and meetings
  • Compile and analyze ad hoc statistical reports, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations
  • Assist in the facilitation of learning and development programs
  • Contribute to key Human Capital year-end processes by developing workbooks and analysis to support Regional Human Capital Managers in executing critical initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Regional Human Capital Managers to navigate HR processes and initiatives, including performance reviews, employee relations, engagement, talent management, and compensation
  • Partner with HC colleagues to drive efficiencies and enhance processes across the team
  • Maintain flexibility to travel as needed
