About The Position

General Warehouse associates are an essential part of NexaMotion Group’s distribution network. They load and unload trucks and move materials within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating hand trucks, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material-handling equipment. Picking, pulling, and filling orders are essential parts of the position. Associates stock and maintain warehouse inventory and prepare outgoing orders by accurately pulling products from stock, labeling, boxing, and wrapping them. The role involves significant physical activity, including standing, lifting, carrying products, and climbing ladders to stock shelves and fill orders. Some overtime may be scheduled and required.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers to help satisfy customer requirements.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations to complete job tasks accurately.
Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
Experience using a materials requirement planning (MRP) system such as AS400.
Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

Pull and fill stock orders for outgoing deliveries.
Separate, label, and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
Package finished products for shipping by shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
Clean and maintain the work area.
Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
