About The Position

Working with Operations, the General Warehouse employee will learn the different types of cores and sort them accordingly. The employee helps ensure components are stored in their appropriate locations and assists with accurate inventory counts. The position will initially be based at the Joplin, Missouri location, with the potential to later move to the company's new offsite storage area in the Underground Warehouse in Carthage, Missouri. The role performs a range of warehouse functions, including receiving and processing materials, assembling and re-boxing incoming turbochargers, and changing their tags. The employee also enters turbocharger information into the Oracle system, meets daily goals set by the production plan, follows verbal and written instructions, and maintains a neat and clean workstation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills to count accurately and quickly.
Experience operating a forklift.
Proficiency using computers, basic computer software, and various Microsoft programs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk and stand throughout the workday; the listed position demands are 0% sitting and 100% standing/walking.
Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and talk and hear.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of inventory systems is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of the fiscal year-end inventory process.

Responsibilities
