About The Position

Working with Operations, this position learns the different types of core and sorts them accordingly. The role helps ensure components are warehoused in appropriate locations and assists with accurate inventory counts. The position will initially be based at the Joplin, Missouri location, with the potential to move later to the new offsite storage area in the Underground Warehouse in Carthage, Missouri. Responsibilities may include receiving and processing materials; assembling and re-boxing incoming turbochargers; changing tags on incoming new turbochargers; entering turbocharger information into the Oracle system; meeting daily goals set by the production plan; following verbal and written instructions; and maintaining a neat and clean workstation.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills to count accurately and quickly.
Experience operating a forklift.
Proficiency using computers, basic computer software, and various Microsoft programs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk and stand throughout the workday; sitting is listed as 0%, and standing/walking as 100%.
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and to talk and hear.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of inventory systems is preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of the fiscal year-end inventory process.

Responsibilities
