About The Position

OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center offers a minimally invasive alternative to both open surgery and laparoscopy. Through use of the da Vinci®Surgical System, our surgeons are now able to offer a minimally invasive option for complex surgical procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing hospital and community with a robust regional referral program that will provide a broad range of interesting cases. The position also offers academic teaching opportunities.

Requirements

Doctorate degree.
Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
Must meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
