About The Position

WellSpan Health is seeking a skilled, team-oriented General Surgeon (BE/BC) to join our established surgical team in Chambersburg, PA. This full-time opportunity offers a balanced mix of operative and clinic time, strong physician collaboration, and access to advanced technology—including a robust robotic surgery program. The scope of practice includes Bread & Butter General Surgery, supporting a broad mix of general surgery procedures such as hernia repairs, cholecystectomy, breast tumor excision, abdominal and thyroid surgeries, and colonoscopy.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire
• Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. Upon Hire
• Completion of a Surgery residency. Upon Hire
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire
