About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team with a call structure of one week on/one week off. The practice setting is inpatient, with access to a Cath lab, Robotics, dedicated block time, and support staff. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and medical treatment within the assigned area.
Evaluate and treat patients using appropriate diagnostic skills.
Coordinate with case management for efficient discharge planning.
