About The Position

Performance Auto Group is growing, and we are looking for two highly driven General Sales Managers to lead our sales floors. We currently have two distinct openings available: One position at one of our high-volume Domestic stores. One position at one of our high-volume Import stores. We are seeking energetic, hands-on leaders who know how to set the pace. If you have a proven track record of building winning cultures, training top-tier sales professionals, and closing deals while keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront, we want you on our management team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive General Sales Manager or a highly successful Sales Manager ready for the next level.
  • An infectiously energetic personality that naturally commands the room and motivates staff.
  • A firm understanding of either domestic or import market dynamics (please specify your experience/preference when applying).
  • Expertise in desk management, deal structuring, and inventory control.
  • A relentless commitment to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Bring daily energy to the sales floor.
  • Inspire, coach, and motivate the sales team to hit and exceed volume and gross targets.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to sharpen the team's skills in prospecting, negotiating, and closing.
  • Actively manage the desk, structure deals, and work directly with the team to close sales.
  • Ensure that the primary goal of selling cars goes hand-in-hand with keeping customers happy.
  • Maintain exceptional Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
  • Oversee inventory, manage dealer trades, and collaborate with the F&I department to ensure smooth and profitable transactions.
