About The Position

Maverick Car Company is seeking a General Sales Manager to architect the client experience and build the team and systems capable of delivering it consistently. This role leads the Sales, Internet, and Finance teams and serves as a key member of the Leadership Team. The role requires strategic thinking about the company's future and day-to-day involvement in developing people. Responsibilities include working through quarterly strategy, coaching team members, developing staff, and redesigning processes. The focus is on building a team that continuously improves, rather than doing everything oneself.

  • Strategic thinking around sales, process, training, and client experience.
  • Exceptional organization and time management.
  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence.
  • The ability to balance care, accountability, and results.
  • A hands-on leadership style.
  • A genuine desire to build something better than what already exists.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is implied by the context but not explicitly stated as a requirement.
