About The Position

Role Players are needed for a training scenario from July 20-24. The team size will be 22 Role Players. Role Players must be able to stay on script, wear appropriate costuming, and operate various military weapons systems including those that fire marking cartridges, paintball, and blank ammunition after instruction. They will act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) and may be engaged with marking cartridge weapons. Physical fitness is required, with no limitations that would preclude working in austere environments or during darkness. Role Players must be familiar with basic weapons handling and safety, and be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods, including being frisked and searched. They must be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods, with or without restraints. Participants should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing personal protective equipment, including a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Requirements

Be 18 years or older.
Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.
Have a valid driver's license.
Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
Shall be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety.
Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods of time.
Be comfortable with having trainees frisk and search them while they are restrained.
Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints.
Be able to participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment (personal protective equipment).
Be able to wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Nice To Haves

Role Player with Military/Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.

Responsibilities

Stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing or changing the scope of the scenario.
Wear clothing, including costuming and headgear, appropriate to the significance of the scenario training.
Operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after being instructed on the safe use of weapons.
Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR), including being engaged with marking cartridge weapons.
Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
