General Production
About The Position
JELD-WEN is hiring Manufacturing Team Members to perform general production and warehouse duties involved in manufacturing doors. Depending on production needs, team members may operate small and large machines, work on door assembly lines, inspect products, machine products for hardware installation, prepare and handle materials, and stage and package finished products for delivery. The role offers a safe, challenging, fast-paced working environment, opportunities to cross-train and develop skills, and potential career advancement. Previous manufacturing or similar experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Commercial machine operator experience.
- Past experience in commercial woodworking, such as doors, millwork, or cabinets.
- Past experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- General knowledge of building materials.
- Ability to perform simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
