About The Position

JELD-WEN is hiring a General Production team member to perform a range of manufacturing and warehouse duties depending on assignment. Work may include operating small and large machines used in window production, working on window assembly lines, inspecting products for quality, preparing and handling materials, and staging and packaging finished products for delivery. Team members may also perform other general warehouse duties as needed. The role involves physical work, including occasionally moving stock, materials, and unfinished or finished products around the work area. The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations, and loud noises. Previous experience in manual labor is preferred; manufacturing or similar-environment experience is preferred but not required. Requirements

Ability to read a tape measure.
Basic math skills, including fractions.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

Nice To Haves

Manual labor work experience is preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.
