About The Position

Cargill is hiring a General Production employee for its Food Enterprise in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The role supports food manufacturing operations by processing meat products and completing routine production and packaging tasks. Work takes place in a fast-paced, cold or warm production environment and requires use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). The position involves physical activity, including standing for long periods, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Employees must follow food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines. Overtime, weekend, and holiday work may be requested. The role does not include relocation reimbursement.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, or warehouse environments.
Knife handling skills or experience working with cutting tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
Work history in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Handle, lift, and process meat products by trimming, cutting, or removing fat, defects, or contamination using knives or other tools.
Perform routine, repetitive tasks that support production operations.
Weigh, label, bag, pack, and box finished products to meet customer and quality specifications.
Work in a fast-paced, cold or warm production setting while using required PPE and performing physical tasks such as prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and twisting.
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
Follow food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
